Thank you to Mazda for allowing to me to drive the 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD!
The spring semester is over! Can I get an AMEN?! This semester was tough and I’m doing a happy dance that it’s done with. To celebrate the end of the semester, my sister and I decided to go on a day trip to Katy, TX.
The main goal of this day trip was to buy a smashing new dress and eat somewhere we had never been before.
Where did we go to eat?
Bernies Burger Bus, located at 2643 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.
What did we order?
The Pre-Schoolers – “two mini cheddar cheeseburgers with all house-made ketchup, pickles, and mustard”
The Kindergartners – “two mini bleu cheeseburgers, thick crispy bacon, and “tipsy” onions”

Something I think sets Bernie’s apart from any old burger joint is all the extra ways you can get your food. From their homemade sauces and various ways you can customize any sandwich, there is something for everyone here.
What should you try?
Honor Roll Fries – “BBQ brisket, crispy bacon, cheddar, BBQ sauce, and green onions”
Homeroom (Burger) – cheddar cheeseburger, crispy bacon, “tipsy” onions, chipotle aioli, and topped with a fried egg (your choice…runny or hard)
Aaaand for all my keto friends out there, they offer a Burger In a Bowl which includes “Bernie’s signature beef patty & choice of cheese served on top of shredded lettuce.” You can also add garlic roasted tomatoes, pickles, red onions, jalapeños and choice of sauces.
Next to the outfit I bought! Target has been a long time go-to for adorable dresses at a great price. I grabbed this dress for around $20. (You can see me wearing it below)

During finals week and for our day trip, we cruised around in the 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD. I absolutely adore the CX-5. It’s sleek, drives easy and has lots of notable features.
This 5-seater vehicle gets 31 MPG on the HWY, and 25 in the city.
