First of all, I want to thank all the amazing people who read my blog. Every like, share, and comment on my posts are so greatly appreciated. CollegeWanderlust is a blog that I originally started during a very lost time in my life, something I’m sure a lot of people can understand. A lot of good has come out of my blog and it’s time to embrace more good for 2019.
2018 had a lot of ups and downs. I had writer’s block for a huge part of the year which is the main reason why posts were sporadic for a long time. But with all bad times, there are good times as well.
The highlights for the year were that I took several amazing trips, met someone special in my life, had a great birthday trip with my best friends and so many more incredible things. A huge plus for 2018 was that I finally finished enough credits to complete my associate’s degree. I guess I really should focus on the more positive things in 2019.
Favorites of 2018
I wanted to recap & share some of my favorite posts from the year. There were so many great memories created this year, here are a few.
One of my fave trips of 2018 was with one of my best friends, Jade. A last-minute trip to Vegas. We had so much fun. Also, this cake was delicious, and I don’t even like cake that much. 🙂
I attended my first painting with a twist (& Salata) party with some amazing Houston area bloggers.
In 2018 I started partnering with hotels for more travel blogging posts. A huge goal of mine & something I hope to accomplish more of in 2019.
My sister and I saw Hamilton in Houston this year!! It was so amazing and perfect and every other synonym I can think of for amazing. I hope to see it again one day.
Traveling to Disney World with my bestie Ashlyne right before Halloween was an amazing time. Lots of Disney posts coming up so stay tuned!
A family trip to Galveston and we had an absolute blast. First time going to Dickens on the Strand and Ice Land at Moody Gardens. (Posts to come later 🙂
Lastly, I had a great Christmas with my family and my boyfriend. One of my favorite highlights from the holiday season was going to see the zoo lights in Houston.
