All of the scholarships on this blog post are scholarships that high school seniors can apply to win the scholarship award. Each has a link to the scholarship website, which will have more information, including deadlines to apply for these awards. These scholarships can be applied to be used to pay for things such as tuition for their freshmen year. Most of these scholarships have topics that applicants are required to write an essay about to win the award amount. Scholarships on this lists vary depending on if high school senior qualifies for merit-based or financial need scholarships.

Ocean Awareness
This art scholarship is what the 202q Ocean Awareness Contest is a call ‘for young artists, conservationists, makers, thinkers, and activists who are concerned about the future of our blue planet.”

Emoji Scholarship
The $1,000 scholarship asks which emoji best describes your life and why—a fun essay in a 21st-century type of way. This essay question is great for graduating high school seniors to apply for!
The Cameron Impact Scholarship
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is merit-based. The scholarship covers full tuition as well as books and supplies. Students from the USA with a GPA of 3.7 or higher should apply HERE.
2021 “Celebrate the West” regional art competition
Celebrate the West is hosted by the Western Governors’ Association and asks students to create an original two-dimensional artwork inspired by their state or informed by living in the West. The winners’ art pieces featured at the WGA Governors’ Summer meeting as well as award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
According to westgov.org, “The First-Place Prize award is $1,200, the Second-Place prize is $750, Third-Place will be awarded $500, $200 will be awarded to each remaining State Finalist.”
“Celebrate the West” is open to high school students from Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.
The Chairish “Design Your Future” Scholarship Application
This scholarship has an award amount of $2,500 with two submission deadlines each year, January 1st and June 30th.
According to Chairish.com, “Chairish is committed to helping college students achieve their dreams. If you are overcoming obstacles to earn a college degree, we want to hear from you! Students from all majors are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to applicants pursuing design and engineering-related fields.”
Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and a graduating high school senior or college undergraduates and graduate students.
$500 FineAwards.com Custom Aware and recognition Scholarship
The rules are simple. Create a video passionately describing why someone in your life deserves to be recognized. The application deadline is June 15th and December 15th of each year. Click here for more. This scholarship is available for high school seniors and college students to apply for.
Come 2 Iowa Senior Scholarship
The Come 2 Iowa Senior Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship available to seniors from Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, or Wisconsin who are interested in colleges in Iowa.
The Come 2 Iowa Senior Scholarship is open to U.S. residents and High school seniors in Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, or Wisconsin and plan to attend an eligible college in Iowa. Applicants should apply by May 15th, 2020, HERE.
Future Leaders Scholarship
Homecleaning .nyc sponsors the Future Leaders Scholarship. This scholarship has an award amount of $2,000, and three scholarships are given out every year. According to their website, “This scholarship is designed to help young entrepreneurs afford the rising cost of education and help them along the road to entrepreneurship.”

DoSomething.Org Scholarships
DoSomething.org offers easy scholarships through community service. These scholarships are available to anyone 25 years and younger and living in the U.S. or Canada.
According to their website, these scholarships have no essays, no GPA requirements, no recommendations, no applications…and you can enter multiple scholarships.
“DoSomething.org has awarded $1.2 million in scholarships over the past six years to over 300 winners. And don’t worry, if you haven’t chosen a college or university yet, we’ll hold on to your money, and there isn’t really a time limit on that.”
Elk Mountain Tents Outdoors Enthusiast Scholarship
I thought this was an interesting one! If you love the outdoors and need help paying for college, click here to apply for this scholarship. The funds for this scholarship can be used towards costs like tuition for graduating high school students and college students.
Course Hero Scholarships
Students must first create a free CourseHero account to access the various scholarship applications.
Students need to submit a 150-500 words short answer written response to the scholarship question for that month to be eligible for scholarships between $1,000 to $5,000.
DirectTextbook.com 2020 High School Scholarship Essay Contest
Write a 500 word or less essay answering “Imagine, in the not too distant future, and you’re walking across the stage to receive your college diploma. Which part of your character did you develop the most, and how did it help you achieve success?”
Applications are due by June 1st, 2021, and applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited two or 4-year college for the Fall of 2020 and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Future Designer Scholarship
Submit your art in the form of a greeting card design contest! The winner of the Future Designer Scholarship receives a $2,500 scholarship and have their artwork featured as a product on CardsDirect.com.
INTO THE AM Gaming Scholarship
To win this gaming scholarship, you must answer the gaming-related essay question here. According to the INTO THE AM website, “Applicant(s) must demonstrate passion for video games and the industry.” This scholarship essay question sounds like a fun topic to write an essay about!
