Scholarships and grants are a great way to fund a college education. All of these scholarships can be used towards college students’ tuition during the 2020 or 2021 college year. These scholarship applications vary on this list, from essay scholarships to merit-based scholarships.
Chameleon John $1,000 Annual Student Scholarship
According to ChameleonJohn.com, their mission is to help people save money on their online purchases. “After having saved money for thousands of consumers, we decided to give a hand to students who are struggling financially and thus established an annual University Student Scholarship with which we give away $1,000 every year to two students ($500 each) in the United States.”
2020-2021 scholarship applications for the Chameleon John $1,000 Annual Student Scholarship will open on August 1st, 2020.
NHS Scholarship Program
NHS gave out six hundred scholarships last year. The 2020-21 application process will reopen on October 1, 2020.
$1500 College Monk Short Essay Scholarship
This $1500 essay scholarship is open to students pursuing a college education.
All applicants must submit an essay answering why they are applying for the scholarship. This scholarship will help you achieve personal and professional goals as well as any past achievements of state, national, or international fame.

The $1,000 scholarship asks which emoji best describes your life and why it is a fun essay in a 21st-century way. Applicants should apply here for this essay scholarship.
Future Designer Scholarship
Submit your art in the form of a greeting card design contest! The winner of the Future Designer Scholarship receives a $2,500 scholarship and has their artwork featured as a product on CardsDirect.com.
The Responsify Empowering Others Scholarship
To win the $1,000 scholarship, you will need to answer questions found HERE about empowerment. The Responsify Empowering Others Scholarship is an annual scholarship that must be submitted by October 5th. A winner will be selected and notified by October 20th, annually.
Halloween Costume Scholarship
To win this $1,000 scholarship, share your favorite Halloween costume that you or your pet has worn!
Pureland Supply Vocational Trade School Scholarship
To win this $500 scholarship, you must have a 3.0 GPA.
“The $500.00 Pureland Supply Scholarship is available to students who have been accepted to an accredited trade school, vocational college, technical school, or community college for the study of trade, craft, or labor occupations.”

R&D Systems Scholarship
To win this $1,500 Scholarship applicants must submit two personal statements of 500 words or less each on the following:
- The impact you strive to make using a degree in your field of interest.
- Why you chose this field of study.
“R&D Systems is proud to support education in science with a scholarship program established to students who are pursuing a degree in a science-related field. The R&D Systems Scholarship Program will be awarded to students pursuing a degree in a science-related field. A $1500 (or international currency equivalent) scholarship will be awarded twice a year for one student in the fall semester and one student in the spring semester. *US, Canada, and European Countries only.”

Medical Scrubs Collection Scholarship
To win this scholarship, you must answer the essay question, “What inspired you to pursue a career in helping others?”
The application requirements are the following:
“Citizen of the United States or in possession of an Alien Registration Card, High school senior or enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university, Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, Pursuing a degree in the medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, etc.”
