Review of the Villard Restaurant in NYC

March 1, 2017 Food

When planning our trip to NYC, Jade and I heavily discussed brunch places. (Yep that’s what we do in our free time.) We wanted to visit someplace that served delicious food and a little more of luxurious restaurant.

So we ended up at the Villard inside the Lotte New York Palace.

Villard was the first restaurant I went to while in NYC. I would suggest calling ahead for a reservation to ensure you get a nice table or even a table at all. They can be a very busy spot.

When we were looking up different spots to have brunch at, this was one of the highest recommended places we found online. This is a more luxurious spot to eat at, so I would keep that in mind before coming here. If you are coming to NYC on a budget, I would highly suggest budgeting a brunch meal here into your plan. It is worth it for sure.

The menu features a full breakfast menu, featuring a wide range of breakfast items.

I had the Villard omelet that was filled with gruyere cheese and a side of roasted breakfast potatoes. ($24)

Jade had the eggs benedict which had eggs, Canadian bacon, an English muffin, hollandaise sauce and roasted breakfast potatoes. ($28)

For dessert, we shared the brioche pudding French toast which had caramelized fuji apples and blueberry French toast topped with bourbon maple syrup. (Yes it was as delicious as it sounded)

To drink we had several Winter Mimosas. They were some of the most spectacular drinks I have ever had. I would highly suggest you try one.

The details in this building are simply stunning. I took so many pictures here it was crazy. P.S. If you know of any great brunch spots please leave a comment and let me know.. Brunch is one of my favorite things in the world.
