How To Save Money At Disney World: Spend Or Save

Saving money at Disney World can be as easy as figuring out what Disney world expenses are worth the splurge. I know that most people worry about the cost of planning a Disney World vacation.

A cheap Disney vacation is possible!

Spend or Save: Souvenirs

 

I say unless it’s a very special Disney souvenir, SAVE. Lots of items can be purchased cheaper from the Disney store online, outlet, or other stores that sell Disney items.

For example, I picked up these Mickey Mouse Ears from Charming Charlies for $12.

Spend or Save: Disney Springs

 

Spend, at the right restaurant and with a reservation. Disney Springs, formerly Downtown Disney, is a shopping complex filled with tons of awesome restaurants. The better restaurants can book quickly so be sure to make a reservation!

Spend or Save: Disney Resorts

 

For us, we saved majorly by staying at Airbnb located 15 minutes away from Disney World. We paid $100 for our three-night stay that included a private room, bathroom, free parking and was a $10 Uber ride from Disney World.

Spend or Save: Drinks

 

Saving money at Disney World can be as easy as asking for free water cups! You can save money by not having the expense of constantly purchasing water bottles. There are lots of little ways to save money at Disney World like this!

Spend or Save: Disney Tickets

 

We found that even though the Park Hopper tickets were more expensive, that’s how we were able to see all of Disney World during our trip. This was a way we could save money and see more of Disney World!
