Uptown Houston Instagram photo spots

 

Exploring Houston in quickly becoming one of my favorite pastimes. I adore this city and love finding awesome places to take pictures.

I am always on the lookout for new spots. Be sure to check out my Instagram stories for more spots that I find.

Here is a list of some of the most photogenic spots I have found so far.

 

1.    Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park

The address for the waterwall is 2800 Post Oak Blvd in Houston. Now just a warning that there is hardly any parking nearby. When I came to take pictures my friend and I parked in the parking garages on nearby McCue Road.

 

2. Trees alongside the Waterwall Park.

The Waterwall is attached to a park that is a great place to snap some great pictures. We took a few in the trees and some with the Waterwall in the background. I think these turned out pretty well.

3. Cheesecake Factory inside the Galleria

 

After running around Uptown, you are going to want to grab a bite to eat somewhere. This restaurant is super nice inside and has a few things that are nice to take pictures of/with. We got a booth along the wall and the lighting from the window was perfect.

4.  Door and window inside Galleria Mall

This is a super cute addition to the mall. I’m not really sure what the exact purpose is, but hey it makes for an adorable photo.  The door and window are located on the second floor near the Urban Outfitters.

 

5.Random little park

So we found this little park after mistaking a turn on the GPS. It’s the next turn up from the Waterfalls. The closest address I could find for it is 5005 Hidalgo St, Houston TX 77056.

It was super cute but beware the ducks!! They will approach you, but they are all (mostly) very friendly.

6. Hola Houston Mural inside Galleria Mall

 

This mural is located on Level 2 between the Westin Galleria Hotel and Godiva Chocolatier.

7.  Butterfly mural inside Galleria Mall

This is mural I saw back in August while parts of the mall were under construction. I think its a piece they bring out especially for those purposes.
