Luxe AirBnB in Brooklyn, NYC

April 6, 2017 Articles, Blog, wanderlust

Glam and convenient spot in NYC

The neighborhood of the AirBnB is described as “Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a lovely multi-cultural Brooklyn neighborhood with tree-lined Brownstone streets and lots of new cafes and restaurants popping up. We’re in walking distance to Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Brooklyn Museum and more.”

Once you step down the stairs you will enter one of the cutest little apartment spaces I think I have ever seen.

adorable sitting area

In this space, you will have everything you will need.

Kitchenette

This area includes a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and even a little stove area. It is fully stocked with about everything you will need to eat on.

So for people that like to cook while on vacation, or reheat their dinner to eat at 3 a.m. after coming home from the bar, this place is perfect.

Bathroom

The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels. It had shampoo and conditioner in it. Not sure if they always do this or if someone forgot theirs, but either way, it was awesome.

The sink was large enough that we could have a curler and straightener heating up and have room for all of our face creams, toothbrushes etc.

Washer and Dryer

I think this was my favorite part of the entire place. Having the washer and dryer was so nice. Being able to wash clothes made packing a whole lot easier.

Bedroom

The apartment had two beds inside it, one queen bedroom and a twin bed.

Unmade bed (Oops!)

The main bedroom also had a TV with cable and a closet to hang our clothes.

One thing that was a nice personal touch in this apartment was the packet that the owners left for us.

What made this place special were the special touches the hosts included, especially the informational packet.

The packet was full of essential information about local restaurants, cafes, bars, markets and shopping places nearby.

One of the most informational parts inside the packet was about the subway. It listed times that the trains did and didn’t come to the nearby station.

Overall ,

If you are looking for a nice and convenient place to stay in Brooklyn or NYC, I would for sure recommend this place. It is close to the subway and a very nice spot.

Neat things provided in this AirBnB: towels, bedding, hair dryer, cable tv
