We finally built a charcuterie board this weekend! All of the items for the charcuterie board are from Whole Food and HEB. I have seen so many different charcuterie boards on Tik Tok and Pinterest lately, and it was fun shopping with my sister to get these items.

Charcuterie Board Shopping List
The following items we had on our charcuterie board:
- Jam
- Cheese
- Honey
- Pickles
- Olives
- Crackers
- Mixed nuts
- Baked bread
- Mixed berry mix
- Hummus
- Assortment of crackers
- Fresh veggies
- Olive oil with Italian seasoning
- Herbs
- Raisins
- Cherry tomatoes
Other Charcuterie Board ideas:
pretzels, jalapeños, banana peppers, cucumbers, pistachios, bagel chips, strawberries, sun-dried tomatoes.
Shopping tips: Whole Foods and HEB sells smaller cuts of cheeses for around $2, and this let us try a lot more cheeses affordably. We picked a variety of soft and hard cheeses with the most expensive one being $9. The Assorted Entertainment crackers from Whole Foods are a must get and the Central Market Country Loaf from HEB.

How to Build a Charcuterie Board
We started by making a shopping list as it’s super easy to get carried away while making a charcuterie board as there are endless possibilities and flavors to be explored. The base of the charcuterie board was a wooden cutting board. We put the olives, pickles, and the oil mixture in white baking bowels. Next, we scattered veggies, fruit, crackers, sliced bread, and nuts. Pair with cheese, jams, honey, and hummus.

Charcuterie Board Meats
Something you might notice about this charcuterie board is that there is no meat. Below you will find a list of great options that you could add to your charcuterie board. You could also try different sliced deli meats that could pair well on a charcuterie board.
- Pepperoni
- Salami
- Prosciutto
Charcuterie Board Wine Pairings
The Cabernet stands up well to the more pungent cheeses. The oaky Chardonnay pairs well with a vast majority of the items on the charcuterie board like the cheeses. Prosecco stands nicely against the overall saltiness of the charcuterie board.
- Mionetto Prosecco
- Daou Cabernet Sauvignon
- Bread and butter Chardonnay
